Hola Familia!


I love just thinking and coming to a conclusion and later in a meeting or something its totally confirmed. This one was simple enough but still awesome just about the power of Christ. He gave His life for us. We really can’t do that. We as mortals really have no power over our life. We can allow it to be taken from us to save someone, but in some manera it is always taken from us. Old age, sickness or violence or accident – taken – but Christ is a God – no one can take it from Him. He has complete power over life in general. He had to decide to die – and could have given up and died at any moment but He chose not to. He descended below even death – choosing not to die – until all was finished. Descending below all – and then He gave His life or rather fulfilled the giving of His life cuz He really gave it to us, both in His life and in His death.


Then on Sunday we read John 10: 17-18 – twice – totally sweet – and Brigitte and Alvaro are going to be baptized! They’re totally pumped – passed the interview. Ward knows them - totally awesome. And they have a ton of family that are members in different parts of Barranquilla – a patriarch actually, and she went to the same catholic nun school as Shakira! And they had class parties together in Brigitte’s house. Just a fun fact. Baptizing Shakira’s childhood friends.


We had concilio last Tuesday and it was super long. They had me share a thought and I talked about baptizing McKay – that was a sweet expeirience – thanks McKay – you’re awesome. Normal week transfers this week. Doing good.
